When seventeen‑year‑old Kaylee Cox moves to the small town of Wrenfield, she expects a quiet life—until she discovers the town’s most enigmatic resident, Daemon Black, a brooding alien who’s been living among humans for centuries. As Kaylee is drawn into Daemon’s secret world of interstellar politics, ancient curses, and a hidden war that could destroy Earth, she must decide whether to trust the mysterious stranger or protect the fragile peace she’s always known.
