The Will of the Many

by James Islington · 2023

In a world ruled by the Catenan Republic—known as the Hierarchy—young Vis Telimus pretends to be a loyal student at the Empire’s most prestigious academy. Orphaned after a tragic accident, he hides his true purpose: to solve a murder, locate an ancient weapon, and expose secrets that could shatter the Republic. While forced to feign allegiance and climb the academy’s ranks, Vis refuses to surrender his unique power, called Will, to the empire that destroyed his family. The novel blends political intrigue, a murder‑mystery, and a quest for a forgotten weapon within a richly imagined fantasy setting.
