The Knight and the Moth

by Rachel Gillig · 2025

Sybil Delling has spent nine years as a Diviner in the great cathedral, trading a decade of service for the chance to dream—visions that summon seven mysterious Omens and allow her to foretell disaster. When a rogue, devilishly handsome knight named Rodrick arrives, her world is shattered: she dreams of a moth, the death Omen, and her fellow Diviners begin to vanish. Forced to leave the cloister, Sybil teams with the enigmatic knight to track down the missing girls, confronting each ancient, sorcerous Omen that stalks the windswept moors of Traum. As the line between prophecy and reality blurs, she must decide whether the knight is her salvation—or another omen in disguise.
