In the snow‑bound village of Okamura, 1937, the Ichiyanagi family prepares for a joyous wedding—until a masked stranger prowls the streets, whispering ominous questions. On the night of the ceremony a blood‑curdling scream pierces the silence, followed by eerie music, and a samurai sword is found plunged into the pristine snow outside the manor. Amateur sleuth Kosuke Kindaichi, a scruffy yet brilliant detective, arrives to untangle a baffling locked‑room murder that threatens to shatter the community’s peace.
