Ward D

by Freida McFadden · 2025

Medical student Amy Brenner dreads her overnight shift on Ward D, the hospital’s locked psychiatric unit. What begins as a routine rotation quickly spirals into a nightmare as patients and staff start disappearing without a trace. Confined within the ward’s steel doors, Amy realizes something malevolent is stalking the corridors, forcing her to confront a buried trauma she’s tried to forget. As the hours tick down, the tension tightens and every shadow could be her last. Freida McFadden delivers a pulse‑pounding, locked‑room thriller that will keep you glued to the page and leave you checking the lights before you go to sleep.
