Home, Sweet Haunt

by P.J. Night · 2013

When a devastating fire forces Nora Wilson into a locked‑down apartment with her brother, the world outside feels like a distant memory. Her parents' sudden, obsessive restrictions keep them confined, until Halloween finally offers a brief escape. Thrilled to finally roam the streets, Nora befriends the mysterious new neighbor, Caitlin, who seems oddly familiar with the building’s whispered legends of restless spirits. As Caitlin recounts chilling ghost stories that echo the strange changes in Nora’s own home, the line between myth and reality begins to blur. On a night when every shadow feels alive, Nora must decide whether the secrets haunting her apartment are merely tales, or the key to uncovering the truth behind the fire and her family’s unsettling behavior.
